Canoe & Kayak Rentals Lake Mead
Locals can take advantage of our kayak and canoe rental program on Lake Mead. The perfect daytrip for locals
and tourists alike, Lake Mead's beaches are easily accesible by car and allow for BBQ's, games, and enjoyment
for the whole family.
Sit-on-top kayaks are the preferred boat here, and are perfect for all skill levels.
Beginners will find the shallow waters near the beach very inviting, and you can even try a stand-up paddleboard
if you feel adventurous!
Cruise out to the Boulder Islands for a leisurely hike, look for seashells on the beaches, and
take a dip in the largest man-made lake in the United States. The waters are crystal clear and
you can often spot fish swimming in the water beneath your boat.
Pack yourself a picnic lunch, and take a break on the Bouder Islands to eat, lay in the sun, or swim
in the refreshing waters. Rentals include all equipment: kayak or canoe, paddle, life vest, bilge
pump, paddle float, and a dry bag for your gear. Delivery to Hemenway Harbor's PWC Beach is included
for free with every rental.
Be sure to wear a bathing suit in summer months; the water temperatures are perfect for swimming.
So rent a canoe or kayak, sit back and relax, and enjoy Lake Mead.
